We got to know Elmarie back in 2019 while hunting for our first home. Elmarie helped us then to secure the purchase. We were so pleased with her service that we didn’t hesitate to reach out again when we decided to upgrade to a new home. Truth is, since 2019, Elmarie is more of a friend rather than just a salesperson with the way she touched our hearts with her passion and sincerity. The moment we made our first call to her she immediately set everything in motion. This lady is so efficient I can’t even find the right words to describe her. This is a salesperson who cares for her clients like they are all her lifelong friends.
She is so pleasant to deal with and truly listens to your needs and ideas. I am sure everyone will agree, the process of selling a home is very stressful. Even though we had confidence our home is well maintained and would not have a problem selling, halfway through the campaign, the stress still got to us and we started to worry. Elmarie is a pillar of strength and support assuring us that all will be fine. She is the calming force in the midst of chaos. She is just there as long as you need her. Even though she may be one of the busiest people around, she will always return a call or a text message (I know this, because I have lost count of how many times we have reached out to her with questions or to seek advice).
Our journey this time is nothing short of an amazing feat. We have several people to thank and one of them is of course our dear Elmarie. She committed her heart to helping us sell our property and then worked equally hard to help us find our next one. When we thought we had found ‘the one’, she immediately prepped us so we would not miss the chance to buy it. At that time, our property hadn't even sold. The idea is to sell our property and then immediately make a pre-auction offer for ‘the one’. One night before our property went to auction, Elmarie told us ‘the one’ received a pre-auction offer and the new auction date is now only one day after our auction day. Our heart immediately dropped, thinking there is no way we will be able to make it to bid for ‘the one’. Elmarie kept us going and refused to let us give up.
On a Thursday morning, we finally sold our first home. That afternoon, Elmarie met us at ‘the one’ so we could look at the property once more and make all the necessary arrangements to bid at auction the next day. She even arranged the pre-building inspection for us as our usual inspector was unavailable. Guess what? We won the auction for ‘the one’ the next day. Now how many average folks like us can say they have sold and bought in just two days?
There is one more part to this story which is, after the sale – yes, talking about post-sales service now. We have yet to receive the keys to ‘the one’ however we wanted to get some quotes for blinds/curtains and hopefully get them installed right after we moved in. The high season is arriving and we didn’t want to wait months longing to have them, especially since we are moving in winter. I told Elmarie of our plans and she was so kind as to arrange it with the salesperson to allow us into the house for that. She could have easily said it’s not possible. Not only that, Elmarie went above-and-beyond and arranged the blinds company to go over for the quotation and stayed with me so I'd have someone to discuss designs with (Hubs wasn’t able to make it). We initially thought of using a company we had used previously however Elmarie was so certain we could get better value from the one she was recommending. I know she is not getting paid for it. She is just simply a satisfied client of theirs. And yes, this quotation is one we are very happy with.
There you have it. If you want a salesperson who truly has your best interests at heart, you know whom to find.
