The Barfoot & Thompson North Shore “Post & Win” competition is a weekly prize draw conducted in association with North Harbour Netball. Members of North Harbour Netball and their family and friends are invited to publicly post onto Facebook and Instagram using the hashtag #welovenetball. Barfoot & Thompson will randomly choose a winner for each week of the 10 weeks of the promotion. The winner will receive a prize pack to the (estimated) value of $200. Participants may post using the hashtag as many times as they like but each person will only be entered once each week.
1. The promotion starts at 12.01am on Monday 9th May 2022 and ends at 11.59pm on Sunday 31st July 2022 (Promotional Period) with each competition week beginning as follows:

3. All competition entrants must adhere to all terms and conditions.
4. There is no limit to the number of applicable weeks you can enter into the draw.
5. Entries require entrants to post publicly on either Facebook or Instagram using a personal profile and include the hashtag #welovenetball during any week of the promotional period. Posts must remain public at least until the awarding of the weekly prize.
6. Eligible entries will be randomly selected from qualifying posts made between Monday and Sunday of each week of the 10 weeks of the promotional period with the awarding of the weekly winner decided on the Wednesday following.
7. Barfoot & Thompson reserves the right to refuse any competition entry where it believes a breach of these terms and conditions, or a breach of the terms and conditions of any related third party, has taken place.
8. To be eligible for entry, entrants must be related to, or close friends of, a North Harbour Netball member.
9. Accepting any prize constitutes the winner & consent to Barfoot & Thompson using their name and/or a photo of the winner accepting the prize for publicity purposes without compensation and waiving any claims to royalty, right or remuneration for such use. This includes the right to use on the Promoters’ websites, Facebook or Instagram pages and other publications of the Promoter.
10. Barfoot & Thompson also reserves the right to refuse to award a prize to an entrant who is in breach of these terms and conditions, the terms and conditions of any third party related to this competition or who won by using fraudulent means.
11. Barfoot & Thompson reserves the right to amend or change these terms and conditions at any time at its sole discretion, including extending, postponing or cancelling the competition. If we amend these terms and conditions, we will post the revised version on this site with an updated revision date. If we make material changes to these terms and conditions, including if we cancel the competition or amend the prizes, we will post a prominent notice on the terms and conditions page.
12. Barfoot & Thompson reserves the right to message the winner via Facebook or Instagram and/or Netball North Harbour may make contact, using the information held in their database, for the purpose of awarding prizes.
13. Barfoot & Thompson is not responsible or liable for any late, lost or misdirected entries or for any problems or technical malfunction which may result in delay or failure to enter into any weekly draw.
14. To the fullest extent permitted by law Barfoot & Thompson will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for personal injury as a result of Promotion entry or winning a prize.
15. The decisions of Barfoot & Thompson on all matters relating to this competition are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
16. All prizes will be awarded by a designated representative of Barfoot & Thompson.
17. Barfoot & Thompson reserves the right to verify the validity of an entry or a winner & right to redeem the prize in accordance with these terms and conditions.
18. To the extent permitted by law, Barfoot & Thompson excludes any liability it may have to you arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this competition including any tax liability the winner may incur as a result of participation. Any personal information collected as part of this competition will be held by Barfoot & Thompson in accordance with the privacy provisions below as well as its Privacy Policy.
19. Entrance in the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be sold or redeemed for cash. Prizes are subject to availability. If a winner is unable to claim the prize for any reason they must contact Barfoot & Thompson within two (2) working days after initial notification of award.
20. All reasonable attempts will be made to contact prize winners using their social media accounts or through North Harbour Netball. Each prize winner will have a period of two (2) working days following the draw to respond. Should these attempts fail, or the winner is unable to redeem the prize in accordance with the terms and conditions, another winner will be drawn or selected in his or her place without liability to Barfoot & Thompson or any other person.
21. The final value of each weekly prize pack will be determined by the promoter in its absolute discretion. Each pack will have an estimated value of $200 and will include the following branded items: a sports bag, sports towel, cooler bag, 10 drink bottles, netball and umbrella. The promoter reserves the right to swap some or all of the contents of the prize as required due to availability. In such case, every effort will be made to ensure a like for like swap is made and that the $200 value is maintained. The promoter reserves the right to award additional items in the prize packs.
22. To claim the prize, the prize winners may be required to provide the promoter with all evidence and information requested, including confirmation of their identity to the satisfaction of the promoter. If this information is not satisfactory or not promptly provided when requested, the promoter reserves the right to disqualify the prize winner and the Prize winner will forfeit the prize.
23. The promoter will arrange for delivery of the prize directly with the winner, the method, and date of which to be determined by the promoter in its absolute discretion at their cost.
24. The promoter takes no responsibility for any failure or delay in delivering the prize but will provide all reasonable assistance in cases where the prize is not received by the prize winner.
25. After each random draw is made, each entry will be checked against entry rules and requirements for each weekly competition. Any entry that does not comply will lead to a redraw.
26. The prize is non transferable and not redeemable for cash.
27. All employees of Barfoot & Thompson, its agents, contractors, consultants, or their immediate families (including de facto spouses) and flatmates or other persons assisting with this competition are not eligible for entry to this draw. ‘Immediate Families’ include spouses, grandparents, parents, children, and grandchildren, whether by marriage, past marriages, remarriage, adoption, co-habitation or other family extension.
28. Barfoot & Thompson reserves the right to exclude any entrant from participating at its sole discretion.
