May 2017 rental report
Find out how the average rent for different-sized Auckland properties has changed over the past year.
- Average rental has increased in the past 12 months by $25, a percentage increase of 4.9%.
- South Auckland has shown the greatest overall increase in the past 12 months with a percentage increase of 6.2%. The majority of this increase has come from three bedroom properties, which has increased by 7.0%.
- Franklin / Manukau Rural still remains the cheapest of the areas we analyse, with a three bedroom property having an average of $426. Over the past few months, this area has been increasing at a greater rate than the other areas, though this month has slowed.
