Find out how the average rent for different-sized Auckland properties has changed over the past year.

  • Rents in the greater Auckland region continue to increase at a steady pace of 3.8% per annum.
  • There has been a significant increase in the average rental of a 3 bedroom apartments in Auckland Central due to the addition of a premium apartment complex to the managed rental portfolio.
  • With only 27 rental properties within this category the average rent should be treated with caution and may not reflect the market.
  • On an annual basis, West Auckland and Franklin/Manukau are the only two regions to have an average rental increase over 5%.
