My journey in real estate started at an early age. My Mom and Granny were keen investors and I was always around observing and listening. My ability to solve problems and provide my clients with honest advice comes from valuable lessons learned from my granny. I think you could say I’ve been working in the real estate business since I was 10!
I completed my Postgraduate studies in Business Management at the University of Auckland and added to my qualifications with various IT degrees and certifications in project management. I became a problem-solver SME, during a 15-year career working with prominent organisations such as Spark, the University of Auckland, HP and General Motors US. I built a huge network of contacts over this time that is now of real benefit to my clients.
I ran my own export and travel business for a few years and then, I felt the pull of property again.
The diverse communities and new developments in the Auckland region make it an exciting place to buy and sell. Flat Bush has been home for my two boys and me since 2006, and we love it. I would say my fortes are problem-solving, providing my clients with honest advice, and I have a knack for assessing the property's value. Cost-effective marketing and a short selling period keep costs down, and I strongly believe, are a critically important part of the process. This, together with my constant focus on achieving the best possible result, are some of the main reasons clients choose me to help them buy and sell their property.
I like to read and study and I love water sports as do my boys, who are my world. I speak Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, and Urdu and can understand a few more languages of India. You’ll find me at Barfoot & Thompson Mangere. Give me a ring or call the office for a chat.
