Stephen Dallow, Regional Manager - Property Management

Stephen Dallow joined Barfoot & Thompson in early 2017 and quickly established the Titirangi branch as a thriving Property Management office. His leadership and dedication were recognised in September 2018 when he won the #1 Top Achiever award and the Top Customer Satisfaction Award for West Auckland.

With a strong background in facilitation and drama teaching, Stephen seamlessly transitioned into the role of Property Management Trainer, where he helped shape the next generation of professionals. Over the years, he progressed into management, serving as Manager of Training and Recruitment before being appointed Regional Manager – Property Management in 2024.

In his current role, Stephen oversees the Training Team and Training Academy, where new cadets embark on meaningful career journeys in Property Management. He works closely with branches across the network, providing support in staff management, business development, and enhancing customer experience strategies.

A firm believer in the family values of Barfoot & Thompson, Stephen is passionate about ensuring staff have access to top-tier training, keeping them up to date with the latest compliance requirements, rental trends, and government regulations.

Outside of real estate, Stephen is an active member of the arts community and a dedicated theatre director. In his spare time, he brings full-scale musicals to life across Auckland, combining his leadership skills with his love for the performing arts.

Megan O’Callaghan, In-house Adviser

Megan is a qualified solicitor and brings to Barfoot & Thompson a wide variety of legal experience from several private practice and in-house roles. To date in her career, she has worked across many areas, including residential conveyancing, general practice and, most recently, commercial and intellectual property law.

This background has taught her how to provide clear and pragmatic legal advice. She enjoys analysing the facts of a situation and working out how the law can be applied in a practical way.

She is pleased to be working in-house again, getting to see the real value of her advice to those working at the front line. She enjoys the challenge of grappling with unique and interesting situations residential tenancy law presents.

She is available to assist our property managers and branch managers with their legal queries, updates our standard documents and provides specialised training with regard to new law.
