Matt leads the team at Barfoot & Thompson Projects. He is a respected marketing leader in the real estate sector with over 25 years of experience in creating, promoting and selling unique, quality residential developments.

His entrepreneurial approach, analytical thinking and natural flair for real estate projects are significant assets to his clients. His hands-on approach to managing specialist teams maximises results over the duration of the marketing. And by living and breathing the category, Matt has built a network of strong relationships with developers and associated industries that add value to any project.

Sarah Peterken, Projects Marketing Manager

Sarah has been with Barfoot & Thompson Projects for 9 years. She is involved in all developments undertaken by Barfoot & Thompson Projects, managing marketing and coordinating suppliers to ensure that every project runs smoothly.

Prior to joining the team, Sarah worked as a senior planner for 10 years at Auckland Council. A decade of experience there gave her an excellent background in new apartment developments, subdivision and land use consents.

Her wide experience with the Resource Management Act makes her an invaluable asset to the Projects team.

Alex Jackson-Forrester, Project Sales Lead

Alexandra brings a wealth of experience to the Projects Team. For nearly 30 years she has invested skill and enthusiasm into her dealings with people at every level. She believes the foundation of her success is a desire to obtain the best results for all parties, thus ensuring her clients' core objectives are achieved. Her commitment to ethics, communication, organization, and detail, has secured her exceptional results.

As Director of a Commercial Real Estate Company in Melbourne in the early 90’s she was challenged to ‘think outside the box,’ and create solutions and strategies that resolved new and complex problems. She has opened and operated three businesses, renovated five homes, and worked extensively in Residential sales, Design and Build, and off-plan sales, but it is Apartment Living that truly engages and excites her now.

‘I considered every major city in the world, and at some point, they have all embraced Apartment Living. Now, it’s Auckland’s turn, and we can do it better because we have the benefit of looking outside ourselves, and therefore, wonderful hindsight.’
Alexandra has successfully sold 70% of Caldera Apartments – Three Kings, as well as Te Uru – Hobsonville, and The Aviary – Panmure.

In an industry given to awards, Alexandra has her share, with multiple - Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum Sales Awards, Top Performer (Top 5), Rookie of the Year (Top 3), and No.1 - National Sales Ladder (AUS).
