Dan started his real estate career with Barfoot & Thompson in 2011. He spent almost five years selling from the West Harbour office, two years managing the Swanson branch, before joining Barfoot & Thompson Glenfield as branch manager in 2017. In 2023, Dan expanded his Central North Shore team to include Barfoot & Thompson Beach Haven and now leads a combined group of over 40 real estate salespeople.

Deeply committed to the success of his branches, Dan is a dedicated coach and trainer with a reputation for transforming aspiring agents into top performers by equipping them with the professionalism, skills and confidence needed to thrive in a challenging and competitive market.

With a particular passion for recruiting and training new licensees, Dan innovates to create unique sales and marketing tools to give his team the points of difference needed to consistently list and sell more property.

Prior to real estate Dan worked as a senior manager for the Auckland Chamber of Commerce, as well as having founded and sold his own legal technology company. Dan has Law and Arts degrees from the University of Auckland, has completed the National Diploma in Real Estate (Agent), and is an Associate of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand.
