About Rebecca Popovic

I am most definitely a people-person. So something I really enjoy about my role as Property Manager with Barfoot & Thompson Remuera is the fact that I am able to make new connections and build genuine relationships, every day.

I also love being a part of Auckland’s #1 real estate firm. This is a fantastic family-run business that’s known for offering trusted customer care, as well as providing abundant opportunities for its staff, supporting them to evolve and grow their careers.

Before coming to Property Management, I was involved in a family renovations business, where I ran everything from the accounts, to customer service, to marketing, to new business development. For a period of 12 years before that, I worked aboard luxury super yachts. The experience I gained over this time gave me a unique insight into what 5-star service looks like, and gave me a work ethic that is second-to-none.

Key qualities I offer: clear communication, high standards, the ability to stay calm under pressure, a ‘nothing is too much trouble’ approach, and the ability to lead whilst also being an enthusiastic and supportive member of a team.

Importantly, the Central and Eastern Suburbs is my favourite part of Auckland, and I am a local through and through. This is where I grew up and went to school. My two boys are also attending school here, and we are involved in the community in a variety of ways. To be able to work alongside the Remuera team, and build on my reputation locally, means a lot to me.

My personal motto is "believe in your own magic". I apply this every day at work, and at home. To relax, I prioritise health and wellness, I love to cook and enjoy spending time entertaining with friends and family.
