Healthy Homes alert - the deadline is fast approaching!

The 1 July 2025 deadline for Healthy Homes compliance will be here before you know it - so now is a great time to ensure your rental property meets Healthy Homes Standards. These standards set out the minimum requirements for heating, insulation, ventilation, moisture control and draught stopping - ensuring your property is safe, warm and compliant.

All private rental properties must meet these requirements by the 1 July deadline. Failure to comply could result in fines of up to $7,200, a Tribunal order requiring completion of any compliance work and compensation to tenants so it’s essential to check where your property stands sooner rather than later.
