When we decided to sell our home and hospitality business, we were introduced to Anthony by a friend. From the outset, it was clear that Anthony was professional in his approach, but what we also liked was that he came without the usual trappings of an estate salesperson. Instead of a flash car, Anthony drove a ute. He wore (high quality) casual clothes, and he had a friendly attitude without being obsequious.
Timing was everything in our sale, and Anthony managed to get the people through our property, although only one couple showed any real interest. Anthony persevered with the couple, though they wanted more and more information. They were looking for a life change, and it was a big decision.
At the same time personal tragedy struck in Anthony’s life, making for conflicting demands on his time. Then the couple seemed to go cold, and my wife and I decided we’d withdraw our property from the market. After all, three months had gone by, and we had ourselves made changes which made our life easier. This though, was perhaps the catalyst our buyers needed, and seeing their chance of a life change slipping away, they came back. A satisfactory offer quickly followed, and we are now happily retired.
I must say that even though we lost faith in the sale at one point, Anthony certainly didn’t, and worked behind the scenes to reinstate it, and to bring it to fruition.
What did all this show us? That Anthony is a consummate professional who doesn’t let go even under the most arduous of circumstances. And on top of that, he's a really nice guy!!!
