I want to thank you for your help in selling our property in Blockhouse Bay. I remember meeting up with you in 2003, when you helped us buy our first property. Later in 2014 you helped us buy our third property and now you have helped us sell our second one!! It has been really nice and a blessing to have made your acquaintance and I regard you more as a friend than as a real estate salesperson, whom we have known and trusted for over 20 years.

I recall when I first told you about our intention to sell the house you began asking us many questions.....you were very thorough. It is not easy to live in another country and manage selling your property in another. My first instinct was…..if I’m going to sell the property why do I need to spend so much on marketing and sprucing up the house?? My friends advised me the same – but I just trusted you and went ahead with all the marketing…the drone photos, the Le advertising on Trade Me, Realestate Sales, Hou Garden, etc…. (I thought that was all a bit too much – but I’m glad I did, and it was all very worth it).

After that, you advised me to make a few changes in the house to the kitchen and painting the house inside and out, so that the house would look like a blank canvas and any new owner would be able to picture what they want to do with it. I was shocked, but still went ahead. Finally you told me to stage the house as well, which meant spending more money…… reluctantly I went ahead. Then the house went on the market and I saw instant results - within the second week, you got us an offer. The offer was good, but not very great, I still took it. Then I got to see the fruits of your advice – you had 10 people bidding for my house. Within 15 minutes when the bidding started, the bidding for my house went up by 370k from the offer I initially accepted. I will absolutely recommend you to all my friends now, as I have seen first-hand your expertise in real estate sales. THANK YOU!!!

We would like to express our gratitude to Ray Shariat for his dedication and support during the sale of my father's property. We met Ray in person briefly and knew without doubt he was the person we needed - (living overseas during this process we needed someone who could rise to the challenge).
