I moved into management with Barfoot & Thompson in 2001 and have been with the company for more than 30 years. The Henderson branch boasts great systems and some truly talented people; an area where we particularly excel is with our communication, negotiating and marketing skills – we’re all over social media.

With a team of 30 salespeople/licensees, Barfoot & Thompson Henderson enjoys a strong market share, selling nearly one in every two houses in the suburbs of Henderson, Te Atatu South, Glendene, Sunnyvale, Royal Heights, Glen Eden, New Lynn and Swanson. The majority of our sales team live and work locally – so our market knowledge and regional insight is first rate, and first-hand.

Our property management team looks after an impressive portfolio of investors' properties both local and international. Victoria Harlick is our Head of Property Management and Venessa Naidoo and Chanelle Fenton are our Senior Property Managers. Zavara Naidoo is our Portfolio Manager and Kayla Brockie our Rental Admin.

Our mission within this part of the business is to treat the owner’s investment as if it were our own. We have a zero tolerance for rent arrears and pride ourselves on our service model. We don't charge for inspections, appraisals, end-of-year reports or tenancy tribunal attendances. We provide our landlords with their own logins to a property portal with updates, photographs and financials at their fingertips.
