I am not new to real estate, having worked part-time in the industry from 2001 to 2019. I am incredibly excited to now be following my passion and my dream by making it my full-time career. I’m just as excited to be working from the Barfoot & Thompson Henderson office in West Auckland – an area I am very proud to call ‘home’.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and have served as a teacher for over 44 years, both overseas and for the last few decades at numerous Auckland schools.
A real ‘people person’, with strong negotiation and marketing skills, I have often been praised for my professionalism, can-do attitude, positive nature and my warm, caring demeanour. Throughout my career I have taken great pride in building a network of strong relationships and happy clients. After all, real estate isn’t just about property, it’s about people and families.
I know that buying or selling a home can be a daunting and sometimes complex process. For many it will be the biggest investment of their lives, so I will never take for granted the trust and faith my clients place in me. That is why it’s very important to me to take the time to sit down and fully understand my customers wants and needs, then fully explain all their options and the sales process. It’s this practice that ensures I am prepared to not just meet the desired outcomes for my clients, but allows me the opportunity to exceed their expectations – my personal goal for every interaction!
When not working I’m an extremely proud grandfather. I love nothing better than spending downtime with my family exploring all the breath-taking local amenities.
In this, my first year of full-time real estate, I’d like to say that I am in the process of “building a reputation, not relying on one”. You can be rest assured I will always go the extra mile for you. Please feel free to give me a call to discuss any real estate matters. I would love to be of service to you.
