Gill Macdonald recently sold our place in Parnell, at Dovedale. Without exception, Gill has to be one of the most thoughtful people you would meet. Her work ethic also knows no bounds! No matter what the time of day, she would do everything she needed, to make herself available. Her many years of experience and her dedication to helping people was obvious as well, especially as we had the difficult task of selling our place on leasehold land. We had special ties to the place but it was time to move on and Gill understood our circumstances on so many levels and was there to help us. We give no higher recommendation.

We first met Gill over five years ago when she was the listing salesperson for our current home in Farm Cove. Over that time we have become good friends and have kept in touch regularly. We have always enjoyed her friendly relaxed but professional attitude.

Since late last year, Gill and Sara-Jayne have been helping our daughter try to secure her first property in the current overheated market. When we were unsuccessful over a number of months we took a break from searching and concentrated on preparing another of our properties in the Pakuranga area for sale. Within a week we had a pre-auction offer which took us to auction within two days.

While we acknowledge we were selling in a “hot” market, we still feel that using the services of Sara-Jayne and Gill meant we achieved far more than we would have with other salespeople who were hounding us to list with them. With their help, we achieved our happy ending, which made the difficult task of leaving the home we all loved, so much easier.
